Five Cozy Cottages

Ridgecrest on Facebook!

Cottage Number One: The Deluxe Honeymoon Suite

Picture
A view of the living space.
From its private deck to its in-room whirlpool spa, The Honeymoon Suite is a deluxe accommodation with a personal touch. A king-size bed in the single private bedroom with its charming gas fireplace, full bath, studio kitchen (with refrigerator, range, microwave and a full complement of dishes and cookware, toaster and coffeemaker) and spacious living and dining area make this suite a honey!
This cottage is filled with some of our favorite artwork. Bringing the kids or a couple of guests is no problem,
either, as there is plenty of room for the fold out sofa bed. The windowed doors open on to the capacious private deck, where you can grill your dinner on the Weber charcoal kettle,  put your feet up, and enjoy the view. For $135 a night ($810 per week -- the seventh day is free!), the Honeymoon Suite is rated for two people but will sleep up to four. It comprises one side of our duplex property, sharing the same building as Cottage Number Two (see description below).

Cottage Number Two

A few steps from the Honeymoon Suite is a two-bedroom cottage with an open porch and its fine view of the lake and grounds. Inside, the large, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, living room and its comfortable furnishings, plus the two bedrooms and bathroom make an efficient home base for all your vacation activities.  The lake view is mainly from the kitchen. There is a Weber charcoal grill to use for your family cookouts.

In one of the bedrooms is a queen and a twin bed;  the other bedroom has a queen-size bed. The bath has a shower only.

This cottage accommodates up to six people, thanks to the fold-out futon sofa in the living space, and is rated for four at $150 per night, $900 for the week (the seventh day is free!). We recently updated the bathroom, kitchen and living area of this cottage, and it is really slick!

Cottage Three

This "Large, One-Bedroom" cottage functions like a two-bedroom cabin. In the private bedroom is a twin and a full bed. A queen-size bed is just off the open living space. It's a fine arrangement for many families, who put the kids to bed in the private bedroom while Mom and Dad enjoy TV and their screened in porch or the deck without disturbing them.
Cottage Three is rated at $140 per day ($840 for a week including the free seventh day) for up to 4 people. A full kitchen, screened entry porch and walkout back deck make this cabin a haven of comfort. The view from this cottage is fantastic, all year around.  The living area includes a fold out sofa. There is a Weber charcoal grill to use whenever you get the urge to grill!

Cottage Four

This cabin is also what we refer to as a "large one-bedroom" cottage. With its easy access and great views, Cottage Four includes a lovely walkout deck. The recently updated fully furnished kitchen and outdoor Weber charcoal grill make meal preparation convenient and efficient.  The private bedroom, containing one twin and one double bed, plus the sofa and the queen-size bed in the living space, sleep up to five.  We have an inflatable bed for up to two additional guests. Cottage Four is rated for four people at $140 per night, $840 for a week, including the seventh day free. We can't wait for you to see it!

Cottage Five

A sentimental favorite among many of our guests, Cottage Five is a one-bedroom cottage containing a living/dining/cooking area, bath with shower and private bedroom with queen-size bed. Despite its small size, it has a full kitchen, fabulous view, screened in porch, and fold-out futon sofa, and will sleep a maximum of three people. The rate is for two at $110 per night, $660 per week which includes the seventh day free. We've updated and added new cabinets, flooring and windows in the living space which  make this cottage extra comfy.

Cottage Six

Charly -- bless her little mischievous heart -- is a frequent occupant of the Naughty Guest Cottage.
Misbehaving while on vacation may land you in this unit, rated for one but will sleep as many gripers as you've got. Limited amenities and view, and rate increases every time whining is detected.
